Pool Filtration

There are three types of filters: sand, cartridge and diatomaceous earth filters. Each have specific advantages and disadvantages, but they basically work in the same way. The pool’s pump forces water through the skimmers and reaches the filter, which traps particles of dirt. Once free of all impurities, the water is returned to the pool. I would recommend for homeowners to use sand filters.
